Storm Scours Saugus

The storm that came to Saugus Massachusetts left numerous damages. The storm caused an estimated 100,000 families without power when the storm hit. Trees fell all across town some on vehicles and even houses and then some entangled electric wires and have fallen on the roads.

The fire was quickly put out in a relatively short amount of time despite the fact that the fire department currently had their hands full at the time since there was an earlier dispatch to Lincoln Avenue and Ernest street for a car accident and two of their engines and the ladder were in Lynn Fells Parkway for a smoke investigation.
