Last May 19, 2010, The Saugus Garden Club held it’s yearly meeting at the Christopher Dunne Visitor’s Center, Breakheart Reservation to celebrate it’s 65th anniversary.
A luncheon was held before the meeting which was headed by it’s president Donna Manoogian and they also honoured the oldest member of the club, Sta Lewis who was 96 years old.
The Saugus Garden Club was organized in 1945, the Saugus Garden Club aims to advance and educate in the art and science of gardening; aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources and promote civic beauty and roadside improvement. The club currently has 67 members.
